Looking further ahead, I want to go to Edinburgh Uni to do history.
Back to the present though. Last week in Spanish, learnt about time, family and joining it all together. Again the reading and writing side of it is ok but the oration still causes problems. Good thing is I've got a Spanish woman at home I can practice my oral skills on. also learning the dreaded Spanish verbs. Once these have been mastered then Spanish will make so much more sense.
The communication class is very good for group discussion and seeing how language is used.

History is really good because it is the only subject I know quite a bit about.

Europe is also good. Being asked what we would like to write about then told to get on and do it. I like the idea of having to research the topic by myself. There is a wide variety of topics around the class and it should be interesting
Back to maths and the problems I faced. Significant numbers. Could not for the life of me figure out how to do this but looked up on the inter net and it's starting to make sense.
My love is like an onion, aye, smelly fingers after playing with it!
Well, all is well on the education front, I'm even able to get on this site again. Maths is causing a bit of a problem but I'm working my way through it. English Lit, ah, English Lit. The romantic poetry is tugging at the old heart strings, NOT. Call me a cynic, but after 20 years of wedlock, 2 kids, grandson and divorce, I don't tend to see things the way that the romantic poets do. Saying that, the teacher seems to be enjoying herself.
I find the other subjects both interesting and enjoyable. Might be the oldest student in class but I;m having a great time.

week 4 and still here

Lots of new and challenging subjects to contend with but I'm surprising myself and doing not to bad.
Ive had a bit of a problem with the poetry in English lit. but the more I thought about the poem the more I came to understand it. Still not my strong point though.
I am enjoying maths because I'm not scared of it, unlike when I was at school.
History is great, mainly because Ive always had an interest in all aspects of the subject.
Spanish is still a strange language pero I think I'm getting the hang of it.
I try to study at least 3 hours a day on all the subjects but with work this can sometimes be a struggle.
I always do the homework on the day it is given.
I have learned more in 4 weeks at college than 4 years at high school.

English lit. can be a bit of a chore, mainly because the teacher has so much passion for the subject and don't. Saying that she hay made me think in a way I haven't before, so that was interesting.
